NHL Parlay Predictions

Panthers in regulation (-150)

The Florida Panthers proved themselves on the road with three straight wins after the All-Star break. Now they’re returning home, where they’re an incredible 23-3-0 this season. Rather than laying the -215 (or worse) juice on the moneyline, the Panthers to win in regulation at -150 seems like the safer play as 19 of Florida’s 23 home wins were in regulation.

Not only did the Panthers win their last three games, but they've won seven of their last eight as well. The lone loss was on no rest with travel against the New York Rangers. Goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky (26-4-3, .919 save percentage, 2.51 goals against average) will start at home, where he is 16-1-0 with an even better .926 SV% and 2.45 GAA.

The Nashville Predators surprised a lot of people in the first half of the season but they're falling off a bit recently. Since the All-Star break, Nashville has managed just nine goals over four games –– all regulation losses –– while allowing 18 goals. Juuse Saros (24-15-3, .923 SV%, 2.49 GAA) can only do so much to help this struggling Predators team.

The Cats should get the job done in 60 minutes.

Wild team total Over 3.5 (-115)

Minnesota has been running Wild recently with 22 goals in its last five games and 71 goals in 17 games since the holiday/COVID-19 break (4.18 per game). On the season, the Wild average 3.81 goals per game and that's up to 4.20 in their last 10 games.

On the other hand, we have the Ottawa Senators, who are going back to Anton Forsberg in net. He is 10-8-2 with a .916 SV% and 2.78 GAA this season.

Minnesota has scored four or more goals in 28 of its 45 games this season and nine of 17 since the break. The Wild will be able to put up at least four against Forsberg and the Sens for the second leg of our NHL parlay picks.

Blues-Flyers Over 6.5 (+100)

The St. Louis Blues have been up and down recently but they've won three of their last four games, including a 6-3 victory against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday. Now, after two days off, they must be licking their chops to face a Philadelphia Flyers team that has lost five in a row.

Philadelphia is on the second half of a back-to-back after a 4-3 overtime loss to the Carolina Hurricanes and could be without goalie Carter Hart, who is questionable due to an eye infection. Backup Martin Jones started on Monday afternoon and could get the nod again if Hart isn’t ready to go.

Either way, there should be plenty of goals in this game. The Blues have outscored teams 37-29 over their last 10 games while the Flyers have been outscored 41-29 in their last 10 contests. That's resulted in five straight Overs –– and seven of eight –– for the Flyers. Blues goalie Jordan Binnington hasn't been himself this season with a .898 SV% and 3.35 GAA.

Both of these teams are also in the bottom-four in the league in terms of expected goals against per 60 minutes of 5-on-5 play. St. Louis allows 2.71 xGA/60 at 5-on-5 while Philadelphia is only slightly better at 2.68.

Combined NHL Parlay Odds: Panthers regulation (-150) + Wild Over 3.5 (-115) + Blues-Flyers Over 6.5 (+100) = +523
