Hagel is the league's most prolific goal scorer in the last 11 games, scoring 10 times. The Florida Panthers snapped his four-game scoring streak on Monday, so he should be gung-ho entering proceedings against a Columbus Blue Jackets team not renowned for its defensive work.

Draisaitl is the runaway Rocket Richard Trophy odds favorite and leads the Hart Trophy odds, too. He has 44 goals, a whopping nine ahead of second-place William Nylander of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

The Carolina Hurricanes ended his recent seven-game goal-scoring streak. Somewhat counterintuitively, the Edmonton Oilers won when Draisaitl didn't score and lost the previous five in which he did.

McDavid must be more angry and frustrated than a disconsolate teenager after getting dumped by the school's It Girl. By his exceedingly high standards, he was dreadful on the recent road trip, struggling to find his groove after the euphoric high of scoring the winner at the 4 Nations Face-Off. 

With that in mind, I fear for the Ducks' well-being. Despite his uncharacteristic recent mediocrity, McDavid still managed four assists in his last four games. He hasn't posted a multi-point game in seven outings. That's way too long for him, especially considering he has 21 points in the previous 10 versus Anaheim.
