We’re betting on a frenzy of flying frozen rubber for today's top prop picks, with Alex DeBrincat, Leon Draisaitl, and Anze Kopitar expected to create their own shooting galleries.

Top NHL Prop Predictions
DeBrincat Over 3.5 shots (+135)
DeBrincat has been a bright spot during the Blackhawks' otherwise forgettable season.
With 26 goals over 45 games, the 24-year-old has notched 14 more goals than his next closest teammate. He also ranks fifth in the NHL in goals and 20th in shots on goal (140).
DeBrincat is averaging 3.1 shots per game overall, and he’s increased that to 3.8 over his past five outings. The winger has topped the four-shot plateau three times during that stretch.
Although DeBrincat will be facing a superior Minnesota Wild team Wednesday night, I’m still confident he’ll launch at least four pucks on net. Minnesota ranks 24th in shots surrendered while averaging 32.6 per game, and the Wild have allowed opponents to top 35-plus shots three times over their past five contests.

Draisaitl Over 3.5 shots (+110)
Draisaitl strikes fear into the hearts of goaltenders everywhere.
The 2020 Hart Trophy winner is second in the NHL in goals with 29 and points with 61. He’s also slinging the puck with serious ferocity while averaging nearly 3.6 shots per game. That's jumped to a ludicrous 5.8 over his last five matchups, with four-plus shots in four of those contests, including 11 against the Vancouver Canucks on Jan. 25.
Draisaitl is now catching the Washington Capitals at the right time. The Capitals are playing the second game of a back-to-back set, and the first was an overtime victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins when Washington surrendered 47 shots on goal. The Caps should be tired on Wednesday, and Draisaitl will take advantage.
Kopitar Over 2.5 shots (+100)
Plus-money on Kopitar taking three shots seems like a steal.
The Kings' leading scorer is known more for being a playmaker and two-way monster. But he’s averaging 2.7 shots per game this campaign, and the veteran launched three-plus shots on goal three times over his last five contests.
Kopitar should get plenty of opportunities to put the puck on net against the Red Wings on Wednesday. Detroit ranks 25th in shots allowed per game at 32.7, and the club has surrendered 35-plus shots three times over its past five matchups.
