FanDuel promo code for the Tour Championship

Consequently, he now stands as the favored contender to win the 2023 Tour Championship. Scheffler's participation in the Tour Championship comes with a comfortable two-stroke lead over Viktor Hovland, who secured victory in the BMW Championship with an impressive final-round course record of 61, culminating at minus-17.

While Scheffler notched two victories during this PGA Tour season, his most recent triumph came at The Players Championship in mid-March. However, there remains little dispute about his exceptional performance in golf this year, as evidenced by his sustained position at the apex of the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR). As he enters the Tour Championship, he has assumed the role of the preferred bet according to FedEx Cup odds, displacing Jon Rahm.

Tyrrell Hatton, Jordan Spieth, and Sepp Straka successfully secured positions in the 30-man field for the Tour Championship through their respective T-34, T-34, and T-37 finishes in the BMW Championship. These three players, alongside Sam Burns and Emiliano Grillo, will all commence the Tour Championship at an even par.

Notably absent from the Tour Championship field are Justin Thomas and Hideki Matsuyama, having failed to secure positions within the top 30 of the season-long points race.
