With so much talent on display and a place in the Euro 2024 final up for grabs, we could be in for an unforgettable Spain vs. France semifinal.

The Spain vs. Germany quarterfinal lived up to the hype, while France vs. Portugal underwhelmed despite both teams conjuring more than enough chances to break the everlasting goose egg.

Kylian Mbappe anytime goal

Kylian Mbappe's dry patch at the European Championships has been severe.

The Frenchman has logged one goal in eight Euro matches dating back to 2020. And that lonesome strike came from the penalty spot against Poland in the group stage. If there's a time his country requires a goal, it will be on Tuesday in the country's most important match since the 2022 World Cup final, in which, inconceivably, he scored a hat trick.

Mbappe has carved out some chances, particularly against Belgium in the Round of 16. He missed a breakaway against Austria in the opener before breaking his nose and has registered 2.7 expected goals. Overdue and more antsy than a hyperactive teenager, Mbappe will get another chance to live up to the billowing hype.

Nico Williams anytime goal

Nico Williams to score is more of a long shot, as the 21-year-old has netted just once in four starts.

Like Yamal on the opposite wing, Williams boasts pace to burn. He's been dangerous in the last three games, especially against Italy, when he logged two shots and 0.4 expected goals.

Williams scored an outstanding goal against Georgia and also produced 0.4 expected goals in that Round of 16 contest. While France's defense is far superior to Georgia's unit, Williams can cause problems if he collects the ball in space with his front to goal.
