Mike Spector recommended taking Over 17.5 rushing attempts for Longhorns running back Wisner for his Georgia vs. Texas SEC Championship prediction. If Wisner gets that kind of volume, I like his chances of clearing this rushing prop.

Wisner has emerged as the team’s top running back down the stretch, recording 344 yards on 59 carries over the past two weeks. He now faces a Georgia defense that played eight overtimes in last week’s win over Georgia Tech.

I expect Texas to lean on the ground game against a taxed defensive unit, which is why my projection is close to 20 yards better than this total.

Jordan James Over 90.5 rushing yards (-125) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: -125 via Fanatics | Implied probability: 55.56%

In his Penn State vs. Oregon Big Ten Championship prediction, Phillip Wood made the case for taking the Under on James’ rushing prop. Allow me to make the case for the Over: James is good.

James has cleared 90 rushing yards in nine of the 10 games he’s earned at least 15 rushing attempts this season. The Oregon running back has accumulated 1,166 yards on 206 carries this season.

Our best sports betting apps are trading his rushing attempts line at 20.5, indicating another high-usage game on Saturday. Fanatics’ line of 90.5 is a bargain compared to the mid-90s total provided by the rest of the market.

Arizona State must try to win its first conference title since 2007 without its top receiver after losing Jordyn Tyson to injury last weekend. Tyson crushed the rest of the receiving room in every metric this season:

  • Targets: Tyson (113) vs. No. 2 option (41)
  • Receptions: Tyson (75) vs. No. 2 option (35)
  • Touchdowns: Tyson (10) vs. No. 2 option (5)

Bettors are getting good value to project who will step up in Tyson’s absence. While I explained why his signal-caller might struggle in my Iowa State vs. Arizona State prediction, I think Guillory, who has three scores on the year and a touchdown in back-to-back games, is my best bet as Arizona State’s No. 2 receiver.

Cade Klubnik Over 1.5 passing touchdowns (-114) ⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: -114 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 53.27%

Cade Klubnik’s breakout party came in the 2022 ACC Championship Game, earning the MVP honor after leading Clemson to a 39-10 victory over North Carolina. I wouldn’t be surprised to see another strong showing in this year’s ACC title game against SMU.

Klubnik has thrown multiple touchdown passes in all nine of the Tigers’ wins this season, averaging 3.11 passing scores in victories. For comparison, Klubnik has thrown one touchdown pass in Clemson’s three defeats.

The Tigers need him to get going in the biggest game of the year, and I project Klubnik to do just that.
