After three straight lopsided results to begin the TGL season, the best match of the season was played Monday between Jupiter Links and Boston Common. Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy were front and center, and Tom Kim became the star this league was missing through three weeks.
That upset victory by Jupiter Links had little impact on the TGL odds to win the SoFi Cup. The Bay, Los Angeles, and Atlanta Drive remain in a three-team race across our best golf betting sites. Boston Common's odds lengthened only slightly. Jupiter Links jumped 0-2 New York on the oddsboard with its odds shortening to a low of +550.

What is the TGL?
The TGL is a new tech-infused golf league beginning in January 2025. Six teams of four represent six cities in the U.S., and those squads play a two-hour weekly competition on prime time out of SoFi Center on the campus of Palm Beach State College. Matches will air on ESPN and ESPN+.
Three members of each team will compete every week in a two-hour match played over 15 custom-designed holes.
Format & scoring
Weekly matches will be played as triples (3-on-3 match play) of alternate shot (nine holes), as well as one-on-one singles matches (six holes). Both formats follow modern match play scoring, with each hole worth one point. The team with the most points at the end of the night wins the match.
A match win in regulation as well as a win in overtime is worth two points. An overtime loss is worth one point, while a regulation loss is worth nothing, similar to the NHL.
Postseason format
The top four teams following the regular season advance to the playoffs. Those teams will square off in the single-elimination semifinals - Team 1 vs. Team 4 and Team 2 vs. Team 3. The two winning teams advance to the championship series, which will be played as a best of three to crown a champion.
