Coming off a win against the Grey Cup odds favorites, the BC Lions are looking to keep their momentum against the Toronto Argonauts on Friday at 10 p.m. ET (TSN/RDS, CFL+) from BC Place in Vancouver.

BC is a 5-point favorite at our best sportsbooks in Canada, and we're expecting a high-scoring shootout in our Argonauts vs. Lions prediction.

Lions-213-5 (-105)Over: 51.5 (-115)
Argonauts+175+5 (-115)Under: 51.5 (-105)

The -213 moneyline odds give the Lions a 68.05% chance of winning outright on Friday. The spread of -5 means they'd need to win by at least 6 points for a bet on the Lions to be graded as a winner. A win by exactly 5 points would be graded as a push and your stake would be refunded.

If the Argos lose by 4 or less, or win outright, a bet at +5 would be a winner.

Over 51.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It's a showdown between last year's CFL Most Outstanding Player of the year and the prodigal son, who has finally returned to the Great White North.

Chad Kelly and Nathan Rourke are two of the most talented QBs in the league, and this matchup is going to lead to a lot of scoring.

Since Kelly's return from suspension, the Argos have been throwing the ball a ton, he's averaging 369 passing yards per game.

And it certainly helps Toronto's offense that running back Ka'Deem Carey is third in the league in rushing (770) - that one-two punch has the Argos putting up the third-most points per game (27.6).

Capitalizing on catastrophic defense

Kelly and Carey will get after a BC defense that's allowing the third-most yards per game (381.7) and the highest QB rating (108.3). Luckily for the Lions, Toronto's defense isn't any better - giving up the third-most points per game (27.1).

With Rourke at the helm, BC can hang plenty of points. The Lions have the best playmaking group in the league, led by William Stanback and Justin McInnis, and are averaging 34 points per game over their last three games.

The Argos are the second-best Over betting team in the league at 8-4, and if they hit it again, a $10 bet pays an $8.70 profit.
