While not on the level of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers or Montreal Alouettes, both the Argonauts and Redblacks have been pleasant surprises on defense this season.
The Redblacks allow the third-least yards per game (357.7), rushing yards per game (91.0), and passing yards per game (266.7). They've also allowed 25 or fewer points in six of 11 games and are 7-4 to the Under.
Toronto isn't quite as strong defensively but allows the fourth-fewest yards per game (369.7) and second-least rushing yards (78.0). The Argos are 4-1 to the Under when the total is at least 50.
Poor matchup for both offenses
The Redblacks want to pound the rock with Ryquell Armstead - which is great for the Under - but could have a tough time creating explosive plays doing it. Toronto's defense is at its best stopping the run.
Meanwhile, the Argos will want to go to the air with Chad Kelly. But the weather won't be the only thing hurting his productiveness with the Redblacks pass defense being one of the best in the CFL.
That could mean even more Ka'Deem Carey for Toronto, which will keep that clock churning for the Under to hit. If it does, a $10 bet pays a $9.01 profit.
