Australian Open Odds: New Year, Same Favorites With Sinner, Sabalenka Open on Top
You might feel a splash of deja vu across your face when you see Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka as the 2026 Australian Open odds favorites at our best sports betting sites.
The former defended his title in 2026, dominating the field to win his third Grand Slam title. Sabalenka fell one hurdle short of securing her third straight Aussie Open title, losing to Madison Keys in an epic three-set final.
Here are the Australian Open 2026 odds.

Men's Australian Open odds favorites
Jannik Sinner Australian Open odds (+125)
Sinner did it again despite feeling unwell for the middle portion of the Australian Open. He had a relatively easy draw and took full advantage, winning his second straight Australian Open.
The 23-year-old has won three majors in his last five appearances, with a quarterfinals and semifinals berth splashed in. He's the most dominant player on tour and will be primed to make it three in a row next year. However, there's a ton of tennis before next year's event, so let's see how things proceed before locking him in as your futures pick.
A $10 winning bet would profit $12.50.
Best odds: +125 via bet365 | Implied probability: 44.44%
My 2026 Australian Open men's player to watch
Alexander Zverev Australian Open odds (+1000)
I'm excited to see how Zverev performs in 2026. The German has made it to at least the semifinals in four of his last eight Grand Slams and finished as the runner-up twice.
He's primed to continue riding his current wave of momentum, and he has the best chance outside of Sinner, Novak Djokovic, and Carlos Alcaraz to win a major in the next year.
A winning $10 bet will profit $100.
Best odds: +1000 via DraftKings | Implied probability: 9.09%

Women's Australian Open odds favorite
Aryna Sabalenka Australian Open odds (+200)
If anyone has the internal strength to get better after a devastating loss, it's Sabalenka. She won three Australian Opens in a row before losing to Keys in the 2025 final, and I have no doubt she'll enter the 2026 edition stronger than ever.
Sabalenka made it to at least the semifinals in eight of her last nine Grand Slams, winning three. I have a feeling she's just getting started. A winning $10 bet will profit $20.
Best odds: +200 via BetMGM | Implied probability: 33.33%
My 2026 Australian Open women's player to watch
Paula Badosa Australian Open odds (+3300)
Badosa has a lot of potential to ascend. It's her potential on which I'm basing this early pick. She is injury-free and playing some of the best tennis of her career. And she hasn't entirely returned to her pre-injury form. Badosa lost to Sabalenka in the 2025 Australian Open semifinals after playing excellent tennis leading up to the tournament.
Let's wait to see how she plays in the coming weeks and months. But as of right now, I'm taking her as a flier. And please, please, let the injury Devil leave her well alone.
A winning $10 bet would profit $330.
Best odds: +3300 via BetMGM | Implied probability: 2.94%
