It’s rivalry week, and we can think of few matchups better than LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers taking on Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors at Chase Center.

Our Lakers vs. Warriors prediction and player prop picks expect Curry and James to deliver strong performances as they go head-to-head yet again.

We also expect Andrew Wiggins to get it done as a scorer and rebounder when the Lakers and Warriors tip off at 8:30 p.m. ET (ABC) from Chase Center in San Francisco.

Best Lakers vs. Warriors prop predictions

Steph Curry prop pick: Over 25.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Curry’s scoring average is down considerably this season, but he typically gets up for matchups with LeBron James and Co. Curry went off for 38 points on Christmas against Los Angeles, and we expect another strong performance tonight.

Over the last five seasons, Curry has averaged 28.8 points per game against the Lakers. He’s hit the Over in nine of those 13 matchups with L.A. overall, but he’s been even better at home.

Curry has averaged 33.3 points per game in six home matchups with the Lakers since 2020-21. He’s scored at least 26 in five of those, including four straight. Expect him to deliver a monster scoring night in this classic rivalry.

LeBron James prop pick: To record a double-double ⭐⭐⭐⭐

James continues to defy Father Time with another productive statistical season. He’s produced a double-double in 20 of 39 appearances this season, and we expect him to do it again tonight.

Over the last five seasons, James has averaged 30 points, 10 rebounds and 7.8 assists against the Warriors. He’s been far more productive as a rebounder and facilitator on the road, averaging 29.2 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 9.8 assists in five games at Golden State.

In those last five at Golden State, James has recorded a double-double in each matchup, posting a triple-double twice. The Warriors frontcourt is shorthanded tonight without Draymond Green and Jonathan Kuminga, offering James a great opportunity to crash the glass.

Andrew Wiggins prop pick: Over 23.5 points and rebounds ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wiggins has hit the Over on this line in just 15 of 38 games on the season, but he’s been hot lately and hit the Over in four of his last five. Wiggins has averaged 22.6 points and rebounds at home compared to just 20.6 on the road, making this a great matchup at Chase Center.

Since joining Golden State, Wiggins has averaged 23.6 points and rebounds in eight home matchups with the Lakers. He hit the Over in four of those while racking up 23 in two more.

With Green and Kuminga sidelined, Wiggins has additional opportunities as a scorer and rebounder in tonight’s matchup. Los Angeles sports the 10th-worst defensive rating this season, making this an even more favorable wager.
