Super Bowl Parlay Picks: How to Build NFL Parlays, SGPs

One of the top ways to get involved in the Big Game as a bettor is to combine some of your favorite plays into one bet. We'll be helping you on that front while offering our Super Bowl parlay picks for Super Bowl 60 as soon as odds are made available.

Super Bowl parlays/SGPs are among the most popular ways to bet at our best Super Bowl betting sites. Those plays allow bettors to chase a larger potential payday, though it's important to be extra responsible with these wagers.

Let's look at the best way to build a Super Bowl parlay.

Super Bowl parlays

The process for building a Super Bowl parlay is the same as how to bet on parlays for any other game. By combining multiple wagers into one parlay slip, you increase your odds and potential payout. The risk, of course, is the entire bet is lost if one leg fails.

The difference each February is the sheer volume of odds and available wagers among our best NFL parlay betting sites, which offer thousands of potential bets to string together into one parlay slip. That gives you plenty of ways to put together a same-game parlay based on what you expect to happen on Super Bowl Sunday.

Super Bowl parlay strategy

There are many different ways to use parlays when making your NFL picks. Some aren't recommended while others can provide value on players you wouldn't get otherwise.

The type of parlays that fall under that former category are ones that feature so many legs that the chances you'll win become relatively improbable. Sure, +5000 odds look great and the idea of turning $10 into $500 is tantalizing. But there's a reason the implied probability associated with those odds is less than 2%.

However, you can create some very strong, +EV parlays when combining one leg on a bet you want to make but is trading at short odds with two-to-three additional legs featuring alternate lines with a very high likelihood of hitting.

For example, maybe ahead of the last Super Bowl you wanted a Saquon Barkley touchdown but his -190 odds understandably weren't appealing. You could have combined a Barkley touchdown with Patrick Mahomes 175-plus passing yards and Jalen Hurts 150-plus passing yards to get odds of +100 at FanDuel. Those odds come with an implied probability of 50%. If you believed this bet was much better than simply a 50/50 coin flip, it could have been worth putting together that parlay to get better odds on a Barkley touchdown.

Building a Super Bowl parlay

The key thing to remember when building a Super Bowl parlay: If one bet loses, your entire ticket is graded as a loser. That's the risk when trying to put together a winning ticket, and it's why the odds increase with every subsequent wager added.

Unlike a parlay that includes bets from different games, building an SGP for the Super Bowl allows you to combine correlated outcomes - bets that could influence the results of another bet. While your odds almost always increase when adding more legs to a parlay, sportsbooks will often limit the boost for combining positively correlated outcomes.

Here's an example:

• Jalen Hurts anytime touchdown
• Over 49.5
• Saquon Barkley Over 112.5 rushing yards

We received +397 odds after building that parlay through FanDuel. However, when we switched that Barkley prop from the Over to the Under, the odds changed to +486. That's because there's a positive correlation with the game going Over, Hurts finding the end zone, and Barkley racking up rushing yards. 

Similarly, if you swap out Over 49.5 for Under 49.5, this parlay moved to +570. That's because the game was more likely to go Over the total if Barkley ran wild and Hurts scored. FanDuel was rewarding you for your bold stance.

Always consider multiple options when building a Super Bowl SGP, as you may be adding more risk than it's worth depending on which bets you combine into one parlay slip.

2026 Super Bowl parlay picks

The smartest way to build a Super Bowl SGP is taking one bet you want to make and combining it with three additional legs that come with a very high probability of winning. We built one at FanDuel prior to Super Bowl 59.

We started with a Jalen Hurts anytime touchdown. He scored three in the NFC Championship Game and was projected for 0.72 touchdowns in the Super Bowl.

However, his best odds were -110, and I don't really like betting on minus money for a touchdown. We can do better.

First, we combined a Hurts anytime touchdown with Patrick Mahomes 175-plus passing yards. He was projected for just more than 235, so there was a high likelihood of him hitting 175, especially in the most significant game of the season. That already took our two-leg SGP to +111.

Next, we added Saquon Barkley 60-plus rushing yards. He went Under this number once the entire season, and that was back in October. He was projected for 100 rushing yards, and Barkley was expected to be given plenty of opportunities.

Now our Hurts anytime TD was essentially priced at +134 with those two "gimme" legs added. That boosted our potential profit on a $10 wager from $9.09 to $13.40. That felt like great value on a Hurts touchdown. You could have performed this same exercise with Barkley.

There are various other fourth legs you could have added to drive up these odds even more. If you added Mahomes Over 0.5 passing touchdowns, it moved it to +151. If you removed that and added A.J. Brown Over 2.5 receptions (he was projected for 5.05), you would have received +161. 

Just take your favorite bet at minus money and add two or three alt-line "gimmes." The key is to not get too greedy, though. That's why I was satisfied with +134 odds on a Hurts TD.

Super Bowl parlay betting strategies

As we mentioned, there are different kinds of strategies when it comes to betting Super Bowl parlays.

If you want to build something truly outrageous, maybe limit your bet to only a fraction of your normal wager size (your "unit). But if you're using projections (or other data online, such as combining some of our Super Bowl predictions) and trying to find edges via price shopping across multiple best Super Bowl betting sites to get plus-money odds on bets we'd deem far more likely to win, you can confidently bet your full unit.

Put together a Super Bowl script

Essentially, how do you think the game will go?

You can use data from the best sports betting sites - is the total high or low, is there a big favorite or is the spread small - as well as various projection sites and information from the previous playoff games.

How does this help you build a parlay? Well, if the total is high and you know the teams involved have played high-scoring games up to this point, you could combine multiple Overs in a parlay. Conversely, if you know a team prefers to run the ball, you may want to focus on the running game and some Unders for select receivers.

Know the house rules

It's important to know how your preferred sportsbook will grade your parlay slip in the case of a voided leg. Now, it's less likely that you'll face this in the Super Bowl, when we should have a pretty good idea of the status on players entering the contest, but it's worth keeping in mind.

Some of our sportsbooks will simply remove that leg and recalculate the odds for the rest of your parlay slip. Others will grade the entire parlay slip a loser, which means you'd lose your bet even without betting on a losing outcome.

Be careful when adding a leg with a whole number (a total that's set at 47 vs. 46.5 or 47.5) because some sportsbooks will grade your parlay as a loss if it includes a push.

Be sure to read the fine print anytime you're betting an SGP with a new sportsbook.

How to read Super Bowl parlay odds

Understanding how the odds work is crucial to crafting a Super Bowl parlay. American odds represent how much money you would win on a $100 wager - or, in some cases, how much money you would need to wager to return $100.

Let's refer to the example posted above: a total, player rushing yards, and player anytime touchdown scorer are grouped to provide +700 odds. That means a winning $10 bet at those odds would return $70 in profit.

Adding additional variants, such as more touchdown scorers, could boost the parlay further - let's say to +2500 odds. If all the outcomes come through, that would return a whopping $250 in profit. However, as we mentioned before, that's when your bet starts to become highly improbable, according to odds converter.
