It's still unknown which matches will be played on Feb. 11 and which will be played on Feb. 12.

Liverpool are becoming a bit of a runaway train. They're trading at minus money by the Premier League odds, and now they're the favorites to win the Champions League.
The Reds suffered their first defeat in Matchday 8 against PSV Eindhoven, losing 3-2 away to the Dutch side. That result, however, was expected with Arne Slot resting most starters. Excluding that meaningless defeat, the Reds have lost one match over the last 30 outings in all competitions.

Well, Man City are still alive, albeit barely. However, they've put themselves in a rather sticky situation, as Bayern Munich or Real Madrid await in the playoff round.
Then again, I'm sure Real Madrid and Bayern Munich aren't thrilled about the prospect of playing City at such an early stage of the competition. These matchups are usually reserved for the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals. One of the European big dogs will be eliminated before the Round of 16 - that much we know.

2025 UCL format changes
The group stage featured a major change for the 2025 UEFA Champions League. We were treated to a single 36-team league stage, during which each side faced eight different teams (four at home, four away).
The top eight overall advanced directly to the Round of 16. Teams finishing from ninth to 24th will meet in the knockout-round playoffs, from which eight more teams will emerge. Once those 16 are set, it becomes a straight knockout like we've seen in previous years.
