Our best sports betting sites have the Las Vegas Aces as consensus favorites by the 2024 WNBA championship odds ahead of the season opener on Tuesday.

After one of the best seasons in WNBA history, the Las Vegas Aces are looking to become the first team to win three straight titles this century. And our best sportsbooks expect them to make history in 2024.

The Aces enter this season with the shortest WNBA odds of any title contender, dealing as short as -105 to pull off the second "three-peat" in league history. They sit just ahead of the New York Liberty, whom they beat in the 2023 WNBA Finals.

Those two are led by the WNBA MVP odds favorites in A'ja Wilson (Aces) and Breanna Stewart (Liberty), while fellow MVP contenders Alyssa Thomas (Connecticut Sun) and Jewell Loyd (Seattle Storm) lead the way for the next two choices in the title market.

Of course, all eyes will be on the Indiana Fever and No. 1 pick Caitlin Clark, who was already the most popular MVP bet before she even made her official debut. For more ways to bet the Fever star throughout her rookie season, check out our Caitlin Clark odds and prop bets.

Ahead of this week's season openers, here are the latest 2024 WNBA championship betting odds, with a look at the favorites and past winners:

Favorites to win 2024 WNBA championship

Las Vegas Aces (+100 via bet365)

Only one team in WNBA history has ever won more than two championships in a row. At least one of our best sports betting apps consider it more likely than not that the Aces will join that exclusive club in 2024.

Las Vegas opened as a +120 favorite but has seen its title odds shrink to as short as -105 entering Tuesday's season opener against the Mercury, implying a 51.22% chance that the Aces will win a third straight championship, per our odds converter. That's what happens when you pair the two-time MVP (and preseason favorite) with three other top-10 players and arguably the best coach in women's basketball.

The Aces led the league in offensive and defensive rating in 2023 and won all but one game in the postseason, and they return virtually the entire playoff roster from that dominant run. It's tough to justify betting on such short odds in May, but they could easily look like a bargain in October.

New York Liberty (+250 via bet365)

It may be easy to forget after the way 2023 ended, but the Aces and Liberty were both considered "superteams" entering last season - and New York actually won the regular-season series, including an 82-63 win in the Commissioner's Cup.

Of course, the Aces got the last laugh in the WNBA Finals, but the Liberty battled in a 1-point loss in Game 4 and enter this season with one of the league's most loaded rosters. They feature two MVP contenders in Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu, both of whom should be extra motivated after a bitter end to 2023.

Seattle Storm (+1400 via DraftKings)

The Sun might have been the third-best team in 2023, but the Storm look primed to seize that spot in 2024 after adding former All-WNBA stars Skylar Diggins-Smith and Nneka Ogwumike to join forces with Loyd, the W's reigning scoring champion (24.7 PPG).

Those three players, as well as longtime starter Ezi Magbegor, form one of the best foursomes in the league, though it could take some time for the on-court chemistry to take shape for Noelle Quinn's group. Once it does? Watch out.

Indiana Fever (+2500 via DraftKings)

Everyone's favorite bandwagon team entering 2024 is already a popular bet in the title market with Clark drawing the biggest individual spotlight in WNBA history.

We're a long way from the former Iowa Hawkeyes star becoming the greatest WNBA player of all time, but she breathed life into that program in a record-setting collegiate career. Now she'll be tasked with helping the Fever reach the postseason for the first time since 2016.

She's far from the only talented player on this roster, though, as former No. 1 pick Aliyah Boston and All-Star guard Kelsey Mitchell help round out one of the most intriguing offensive lineups in the WNBA. The bigger question is whether Christie Sides' team will be able to guard anyone in 2024.

Understanding WNBA Championship odds

When looking at WNBA title odds, it's important to note that the team that is "most likely" to win will have the shortest odds, i.e. the smaller number attached to their name.

For example, the Las Vegas Aces are an overwhelming favorite with odds between +110 and -105. The -105 odds imply a 51.22% probability Las Vegas wins it all, but the +110 odds are a better value with a $10 bet leading to a $9.09 profit.

The longer the odds are, the bigger the profit they'll return if the bet hits. With the Indiana Fever's +2500 odds, for example, a $10 bet on Indiana to win the championship would result in a $250 profit if Caitlin Clark led the Fever to the title.

While most books use American odds (like we have), some prefer decimal odds. In that case, you can use our odds converter to see them in the American style.
