The Oklahoma City Thunder are on the brink of sweeping the New Orleans Pelicans, and we're offering our top Thunder vs. Pelicans player props based on the best NBA odds.

Facing the looming threat of being swept by the Oklahoma City Thunder (57-25), strong contenders in the NBA Championship odds, the New Orleans Pelicans (49-33) must rally to avoid a swift postseason exit.

Their last opportunity to avoid a sweep is set to tip off Monday at 8:30 p.m. ET (NBA TV) at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, La. According to our best sports betting sites, the Thunder are 4-point favorites.

The Pelicans will face a stiff challenge in the Thunder's youthful and talented lineup as they look to extend the series.

In addition to our Celtics vs. Heat player props and our Lakers vs. Nuggets player props, here are our best Thunder vs. Pelicans player props and NBA picks (odds via our best NBA betting sites; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Thunder vs. Pelicans prop bet predictions for Monday

Chet Holmgren Over 2.5 blocks ⭐⭐⭐⭐

With Victor Wembanyama a lock by the NBA Rookie of the Year odds, Chet Holmgren's dominant rookie year has been overshadowed. It's crazy that a player like Michael Carter-Williams has the award on his resume and the Thunder's young star won't have one on his.

But Holmgren has reinforced his stardom throughout the first NBA playoff series of his career. He's been stalking shooters like prey around the rim and blocked 11 shots in three games (3.7). The 7-foot-1 big man came into the series fourth in the NBA in blocks per game (2.3) and has killed a Pels lineup that was blocked 2.33 times per game by centers in the regular season.

These -135 odds may seem short, with a $10 wager paying out $17.41, but this same prop is as short as -154 at our other best sports betting sites. Those odds imply a 60.63% probability he hits the Over, according to our odds calculator

Jalen Williams Over 19.5 points ⭐⭐⭐

This Sam Presti guy is pretty good at this whole drafting thing, huh? Sure, everyone knew Holmgren was the right pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, but to nab Jalen Williams with the 12th pick, too? Ridiculous.

It hasn't taken Williams long to prove Presti's genius, with the former Santa Clara star putting up 19.1 points this season and brutalizing the Pelicans in Round 1. Williams is coming off back-to-back 21-point games against New Orleans and averaging 20.3 points per game in the series while shooting 52.9% from the floor.

The Pelicans allowed 22.87 points per game to power forwards in the regular season, and without Williamson, it's even harder to contain a scoring four like Williams. The -111 odds imply a 52.61% probability the Over hits with a $10 bet leading to a $9.01 profit.

Brandon Ingram Under 32.5 points + rebounds + assists ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It appears that Brandon Ingram has had his youth zapped by this young Thunder roster, with the Pelicans wing suffering from Derrick Favors syndrome (when an NBA player looks and plays much older than he is). Ingram has aged a decade this campaign and hasn't been the same player since an injury late in the regular season.

Without Williamson as the Mario to his Luigi, Ingram has looked out of place trying to carry the Pelicans' offense. He's averaging just 23.3 combined points, rebounds, and assists in the series despite averaging more than 35 minutes per game.

Against this fourth-rated Thunder defense, Ingram's in for another stagnant performance. A $10 bet on this prop pays out $18.47, with the odds implying a 54.13% chance the Under hits.
